We had a CARS party..........
As you know - I am an "adopted' gram to two of the most beautiful babies in the world! My little angels (she is 7 and he will be 5 next month) are the loves of my life. And of course - I love to spoil them every chance I get.
Today being Election Day, they did not have to go to school (2nd grade and pre-K). And of course - today the DVD CARS came out. So by 6 AM I was at the store to get the DVD, coloring books, t-shirts, folders, napkins and I had the bakery decorate a dozen cupcakes with the CARS rings so that we could have a CARS party. I picked them up when they woke up and brought them home with me. We had pancakes and eggs for breakfast (as ordered by them), chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn and bean salad for lunch. The movie was really cute and then we watched Over the Hedge and The Chipmunks Halloween. Their mom went to the doctor and it gave her some time for herself. We saved the cupcakes for them to take home (along with their CARS cereal, Christmas Oreos and all the other goodies.) We stopped for pizza and wings to take home so that they could have another CARS party with their mom.
Right now - I am "carred" out.........they wore me out today. So I think my dinner will be some hot tea and toast.
