"square" meal
I purchased Thomas's square bagels and I thought they would be nice for an easy dinner.
Today it's "square" burgers served on toasted square bagels; topped anyway you want.
For the burgers: Ground chuck, kosher salt, fresh ground black pepper, fresh chopped parsley, fresh minced garlic - pressed into a rectangular pan (spray or oiled) and baked until done; top with cheese and place back in the oven to melt; cut into squares and served on toasted square bagels. Mayo, onions, ketchup, mustard or any spreads - pick your own and even bacon slices.
Baked potato wedges with carrots: Scrubbed white potatoes cut into wedges and carrots cut into chunks; tossed with olive oil, kosher salt, fresh ground black pepper, fresh minced parsley and fresh minced garlic; spread on baking sheet and baked until done.
Stuffed eggs: Hard cooked eggs, yolks mixed with salad dressing, minced sweet pickle, carrot chips and sprinkled with paprika.
Stuffed pepperoncini: Slit peppers, remove seeds, stuff with a mixture of: cream cheese, crumbled bacon, minced onion.
Green salad: romaine and iceberg, tomatoes, cukes, radishes with olive oil and red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, basil.
Dessert: Strawberry banana jello with sliced fresh strawberries and banana slices; whipped cream.........."there's always room for jello!"
