luncheon for a crowd
We are hosting a luncheon tomorrow and the menu is:
Rigatoni in meat sauce with meatballs, pork and braciole.
Roast beef and gravy, mashed potatoes, assorted veggies.
Homemade bread and rolls.
Green salad - endive, romaine, red leaf, tomatoes, cukes, homemade herbed croutons and olive oil/red wine vinegar vinaigrette.
Chocolate layer cake, Italian Cream Cake, 3 different Italian cookies, pizzelles, cut outs and chocolate chip cookies.
Apple pie, Dutch apple pie, lemon merigue pie, pumpkin pie.
Coffee and tea.
All the baking is done except for the bread - that is for morning.
That should fill everyone's belly!!!
Then I get to recuperate for a day (Saturday) and start all over for Sunday and Monday.
