Crockpot dinner

Just wanted to start sharing what I am fixing for dinner tonight. I have a big family so I use the crockpot alot. This morning I made a meatloaf using lipton onion soup mix recipe for thier meatloaf and put it in the crockpot on low for about 6-8 ours. Its one less thing I have to make later. After its about half way done I throw in some white potatoes and some onions. Now when its dinner time all I need is a vegetable and everything else is done. Simple recipe to fix it and forget it. Anyone have other variatins or other hints would be helpful. Thanks
