Default Sloppy Joes, French Fries, Dill Pickle Spears

It is finally raining here, but that also means I don't want to cook on the grill.

Easy Sloppy Joes

2 1/2 lbs Ground Round
2 Cups chopped onion
1/2 Cup Ketchup
1/4 Cup Vegetable Juice Cocktail (I substitute water sometimes)
2 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tbs. Prepared mustard
2 Tbs. Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1 (6 oz.) tomato paste
12 Split Hamburger buns

Cook ground round in dutch oven with onion until ground round is crumbly and no longer pink. Drain; return to pot. Stir in Ketchup and next six ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring often. Spoon mixture onto bun bottoms, cover with tops.

Jan - send rain to us! It is so hot, humid and the ground needs rain so bad! Our weatherman lies to us daily - LOL.

Sloppy joes and fries sound so good! Do you put sliced dill pickles on your sloopy joes??? It's good!!
