panini and grilled taters in George

With all this heat, I'm glad I have my George Forman to depend on for many things!

Today it was panini and grilled potato slices.

Panini:
"marinated" beefsteak tomato slices with onion slices (olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic and basil) - let that "sog up" on the counter for at least 30 minutes - making extra "marinade" to be used as the panini dressing; layer ham, genoa salami, provolone, mozzarella, marinated tomato and onion slices, pepperoncini, cracked black pepper and drizzled with "marinade" on baguette - cooked in George

Potato slices:
scrubbed Yukon Golds; sliced 1/4-inch thick, tossed with olive oil, salt, pepper and parsley - grilled until done

and plenty of iced green tea!
