a good burger -
We love good burgers! And there are so many different variations of what can be done with one simple recipe.
Whether grilling inside or out or skillet frying - this IS a good burger.
Start with a good handful of finely minced onion to 1 lb ground chuck. Add kosher salt, fresh ground black pepper, fresh minced parsley, fresh minced garlic, a pinch of onion powder and a splash of Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and form into patties.
Grill or skillet fry in olive oil and butter to desired doneness. Top with extra sharp white Cheddar cheese and allow to melt slightly.
These can be served on toasted bulkie rolls with any of your favorite toppings/condiments. Sometimes we have them with my marinated onion rings, lettuce, tomato and pickle.
Sometimes I slice some baby bella mushrooms and saute in the pan juices and make a gravy (yes mushroom gravy over the extra sharp white Cheddar is really good!) and serve with mashed/smashed potatoes.
Saute sliced onions with mushrooms as well if desired.
