It's too cold out there -

This morning it was only 2 above - dang cold out there. And since they are predicting lake effect and the temperatures to drop more (just how much further down they can go I don't know! and I always thought that at these temps it was too cold to snow! so much for past experiences...........) we need a good tummy warmer for sure.

So today it's a nice big pot of Jewish Penicillin! Yep - good ol' fashioned chicken soup.

Did you ever see the commercial on TV with the rooster crowing at the foot of the bed waking up a woman??? Well - his butt is in the pot now! LOL

Onions, carrots, celery, seasonings, then I'll strain and pick the meat off the bones and add veggies, taters and homemade soup balls.

I've got Italian bread for soppin' - so I'm all set.
