Default Kielbasa with Taters

Easy dinner tonight - skillet fried kielbasa with sliced onions, steamed taters and carrots with a light butter sauce.

I whipped up a batch of pizzelles and shaped some into cone shapes for ice cream as well.

Damn, I miss good kielbasa like I used to get in the Polish deli in Chicago. No other kielbasa is as good. IMHO

Let me tell you - I bought a "brand" that used to be decent - and I don't think I will ever buy it again. To begin with - the casings were like plastic - very unappetizing - and the flavor was just not there. Like everyone else - cut back and charge more. But they have compromised the flavor and lost some customers.

We used to get a dang good sausage up in Canada! One of these days I'll get an enhanced license and get up there for some.
