SWEET AND SOUR BRISKET

SWEET AND SOUR BRISKET

1 beef brisket - 3 to 4 lbs.
Salt, pepper and paprika, to taste
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 c. light brown sugar, packed
1 env. dry onion soup mix
3/4 c. ketchup

Place brisket in roasting pan; season with salt, pepper and paprika. in small bowl, combine vinegar, brown sugar, soup mix and ketchup; mix well. Pour over brisket. Cover and refrigerate for several hours.

Bake in preheated 350* F. oven for 2 1/2 hours or until very tender.

Serves 6
