Thumbs up Best Pork Chop Bake (And Easy)

3 15oz cans Pork & Beans in Tomato Sauce
6 Lean loin pork chops (All white meat)
Salt & Pepper
Mustard
1/2c Brown Sugar
1/2c Ketchup
6 thin slices onion
1/4c Chopped Onion for Beans (more or less for your taste)
1 Green Pepper (large) Use for 6 thin slices & chop the rest
(Onion & green peppers can be adjusted to your taste)

Preheat Oven to 325 degrees.

1. Spray 9x13” baking pan lightly with cooking oil spray, then spread beans into the bottom of the pan, add chopped onion & chopped green peppers.
Add 1/4c of the brown sugar, 1/4c ketchup, stir all together. (Do not drain the beans)

2. Trim & discard excess fat from the edges of the chops then arrange chops over the beans. Lightly salt & pepper the chops, then spread a thin layer of mustard over each chop.

3. Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the chops, then spread remaining ketchup over all.

4. Bake uncovered 1 1/4hrs (75minutes) at 325 degrees.

5. Remove from oven and arrange a green pepper slice and onion slice on top of each chop.

6. Bake another 15minutes. Onion should be slightly browned.

Makes 6 Servings
You can always play with the bean recipe if you have a favorite recipe of your own try it.

This recipe is a favorite of my picky husbands. Kids love it too!
