We are a "no-meat Friday" family - so it's nice to play around with fish coatings when we want deep fried fish fillets or fingers.

Salted pretzels (crushed) (or mustard pretzels or cheese crackers, etc)
Eggs (beaten)
Flour
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder

First, take your fillets and cut into pieces or leave whole. Then, sprinkle with the salt, pepper and garlic powder. Next, roll the fillets in the flour. Then, dip the floured fillets into the eggs and roll in the crushed pretzels or crackers. Deep fry; drain - well - you know the routine!
