Re: LF Outback Steakhouse Teriyaki Steak Recipe
these aren't from Outback - but you may want to try one -
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated onions
1/2 cup water
makes 1 cup
Blend ginger, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and onion in a bowl.
Add meat to marinade for at least one hour or refrigerate meat in marinade overnight.
After marinating meat, drain the marinade and add it to a 1/2 cup of
water. Bring it to a boil for 3-5 minutes and use it for a meat dipping sauce during the meal.
Excellent for pork, beef or chicken.
One of a few that I have. Its good for beef or chicken...grilled or cooked indoors.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon salad oil
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
makes: 1/3 cup
5 minutes total time to make.
Combine all ingredients in a container& mix until sugar dissolves.
Add beef or chicken, cover& refrigerate for at least 3 hours ( the longer the better), stirring often.
Perfect marinade for chicken, pork, beef. Great for grilling.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/8 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon dried ginger
Mix well. Marinate meat 18-24 hours.
OUTBACK STEAK HOUSE MARINADE (if anyone wants this)
1 c. Scottish Ale NOT BEER
2 t. brown sugar
1/2 t. seasoned salt
1/4 t. ground black pepper
1/4 t. MSG (or Accent)
Place your favorite cut of steak in a shallow pan and pour ale on steak and marinate for 1 hour in refrigerator. Remove steak from ale and mix dry ingredients together and rub steak on both sides. Let marinate with dry ingredients for 1/2 hour.
Preheat a skillet or grill to med high heat add vegetable spray or vegetable oil and braise to perfection.
You make like the flavor of braising the steak in butter (not margarine) instead of oil.
Will marinade 1 ½ lbs. meat.
