Chicken Chalopas
Note: This recipe came from my daughter who got it from her mother in law many many moons ago. This was the first dinner our daughter prepared for us right after she got married almost 20 years ago. My how time flies!! This makes a easy and quick go 2 meal.
Corn taco shells cut unto fourths
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 small can Ortago diced chilies
1 cup milk
5 boneless skinless chicken breast that has been boiled until done, and shredded
1-1/2 cup grated chedder cheese
Mix both soups with chilies and milk
Spray a casserole baking dish with Pam and layer soup mixture, chicken and taco shells. Bake at 350 until casserole is all bubbly than add cheese and bake another 5 minutes or until cheese has melted. Serve with sour cream and salsa
