I made this –I have to disagree with the size of the pans tho..I used one pan the size suggested and the other pan the 9 1/2 X 5 1/2 size –and still had the smaller pan over flow…with all the flour, sugar , eggs , theres no way all this fits in the reccommended size pan. I didnt even use the nuts which would have only made more volume. It was good but the pan size isnt correct..

I followed the directions and got 2 perfect loaves in the pan size suggested. Very moist, tastes good, but next time I will add some grated orange rind since the orange juice did not really add any orange flavor.

Just made the bread, and daughters friend said “OH, this is the Best banana bread I have ever had”. Batter fit perfectly in my two pyrex loaf pans. It was nice to have a recipe that didn’t require butter milk.

I ment to say orange peel, not orange rind, I like the more
orange flavor, two friends find the pan of 9 x 13 the best, and still have some for a small loaf.
One has used chocolate chips and one has just frosted it chocolate.
I like it plain with that hint of orange.
I think I might try 3 loaf pans next time.
