Apple Dumplings

2 apples peeled and cored 1 can crescent rolls 1/8 tsp. cinnamon 1stick margarine 1 cup sugar 1 cup orange juice 1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350. Cut apples into fourths. Seperate rolls. Wrap 1 piece of apple in each roll. Mix margarine, orange juice and sugar in pan. Bring to a boil. Cook 5 minutes. Stir in vanilla and cinnamon. Pour over rolls. Bake for 30 minutes. Spon syrup over rolls. Delish with a big scoop of ice cream served along side warm rolls!

Having problems with low blood sugar, I have to stay away from sugar. I have made this recipe with Splenda. The syrup is not as thick after cooking, but it taste good. I love this recipe.
