Easy Sausage Casserole

1 refrigerated package of 8 crescent rolls
1 lb. sausage
2 cups shredded cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack, any cheese of choice or a blend of several)
6 eggs
1/4 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste

Press crescent rolls in 13x9x2 greased pan, sealing perforations.
Brown sausage; drain; chop and sprinkle over rolls. Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper; pour sausage. Sprinkle cheese on top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
