Chinese-Style Small Vegetables

Servings: 4
Ingredients Preparation

20 snow peas, ends removed
4 green onions, white and green chopped separately
1 sweet yellow or red pepper, membranes removed and seeded, into strips
1 peeled carrot, sliced
8 miniature corn on the cobs
1/2 garlic clove, chopped
1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] garlic powder
1 tablespoon [15 mL] vegetable oil
1 1/2 ounces [45 mL] Chinese oyster sauce

Preheat barbecue to high intensity.
Mix together snow peas, chopped white part of green onions, sweet yellow or red pepper strips, carrot slices, miniature corn on the cobs, chopped garlic or garlic powder and vegetable oil.
Preheat a wok onto hot barbecue rack for 2 minutes.
Add and stir-fry mixed vegetables for 3 to 4 minutes.
Remove from heat; pour into a salad bowl.
Stir in Chinese oyster sauce and chopped green part of green onions.
