Hazelnut Almond Muffins

Serves/Yields: 12 muffins


*These taste just like rich bakery muffins!*

3 large eggs
1 1/2 stick butter, melted
1 cup protein powder (I like Whey Protein Powder best)
3/4 cup granular Splenda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/8 tsp. salt
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup DaVinci Hazelnut sugar free syrup
1 cup flax seed meal
1/2 cup slivered almonds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Beat eggs and add in melted butter. Continue to beat well. One by one, add the protein powder, Splenda, baking powder and salt. Beat well. Stir in the syrup, water, flax seed meal and almonds.

Put into well greased muffin tins and bake for 25 minutes.
