More of a "healthier" ingredient, than a recipe
It's no secret that living in Louisiana, although having been raised on the Texas coast, I use a great deal of Cajun seasoning. My brand of choice is "Ball's" brand general purpose Cajun seasoning. However, it's salty. Well, I was in Lake Charles recently and stopped by the grocery store to pick up another 10 canisters of it, when I spotted their SALT free version.
I tried it, and although it's not quite as good as the original, it's Ok.
Ball's cannot be tested by merely using tasting it from the can, like others. Put it on yours steaks and let them sit in the frig for an hour or more. Then you'll see what I'm talking about. Just go easy with it.
