Homemade Hot Sauce Recipe

4 cups peeled and chopped fresh tomatoes (or canned)
1 cup chopped chile peppers (any kind of pepper your like, Jalepeno to Habenero)
½ cup white onion - chopped
2 cups white vinegar
1 cup sugar
1 Tb mixed pickling spice

Tie spices inside a cheesecloth bag. Place tomatoes, peppers, onions, spices, and vinegar in a pot and cook on medium-low until soft. Press through a sieve or strainer. Add sugar and cook again on medium-low until desired thickness is reached, stirring frequently to prevent burning. Pour into sterilized jars and refrigerate until use.
