Praline Pound Cake

1 1/2 cups chopped pecans, divided
1 1/2 cups margarine
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3 cups brown sugar
6 eggs, at room temperature
3 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons vanilla

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup pecans in pan.
Cream margarine and cream cheese. Add brown sugar. Cream for 5
minutes, or until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing
well after each addition. Fold in flour until just combined. Do not
over mix. Stir in vanilla and remaining pecans. Spoon batter into
prepared pan.

Place on baking sheet. Bake for 1 1/2 hours, or until done. Cool in
pan for 10 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack.
