Fiery Watermelon Salsa

Sweet and fiery - the perfect accompaniment to grilled foods.

1 tablespoon jalapeno pepper
3 cups watermelon, chopped in 1/2 inch pieces
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon chopped green onions
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

Remove seeds from jalapeno. Be sure to wear rubber gloves when doing this task. When deseeded, mince jalapeno.
In a large bowl, combine the watermelon, green bell pepper, lime juice, cilantro, green onions, jalapeno and garlic powder. Toss to mix well. Let rest, refrigerated for at least one hour.
