Easy Creamy Mushroom Pork Chops

Ingredients Preparation

Vegetable oil
5 [3/4-inch / 2-cm thick each] pork chops
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups [375 mL] cleaned fresh mushroom slices
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 [10-ounce / 284-mL] can cream of mushroom soup concentrate
1/2 cup [125 mL] milk

Heat a little oil into a large frypan.
Brown pork chops on both sides.
Remove pork chops from frypan; set aside.
Drain excess melted fat from frypan.
Fry together chopped onion, mushroom slices and chopped garlic for 2 minutes.
Mix in cream of mushroom soup concentrate and milk.
Bring to a boil.
Add pork chops, then lower heat.
Cover and leave to simmer slowly for 20 to 25 minutes, until tender, turning pork chops once after 10 to 12 minutes.
