Mashed potato Salad with apples

Hello all,

I had a great dinner last night and the lady putting it together was just like "through this and that in" she was from the Netherlands, but said the recipe was from an American cookbook she used to have. So here are the ingredients I know of:

Potatoes mashed with yogurt & mayo.
Apples (chopped up and not cooked)
Black pepper
Green olives (chopped finely)
spring onions
garlic

she did make a separate bowl with shredded chicken.

Has anyone heard of something along these lines? It was so good and I would like to make it for my family.

i lik potato and apple. when there is salad with mixing of both items. there is no word to say

I've tried you recipe, But i add cheese instead of mayo. and believe me its delicious Mashed potato Salad.

Try this recipe - Tomato Cucumber Salad
Ingredients:
2 Tomatoes
3 Cucumbers
1 Red Onion
2 sprigs of Fresh dill
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Pinch of Sea salt
Pinch of Black Pepper
Simple and Tasty!)
