Hi, Never done this before.
My issue is, in order to get enough turkey for my guests this Christmas, I had to buy 2. (couldn’t find a large enough one ANYWHERE I went).
In order to not have to make one a day ahead, and reheat it and risk dry meat, I was wondering if I could cut the legs, back and wings off of the smaller one, and stuff the breast inside the larger bird, and cook them both at once, on Christmas Day. Would this work? If so, how much cooking time would I need to add?
Am I crazy to think this would work???
