4 layer pistachio dessert


1 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 lg. carton Cool Whip
2 1/2 c. milk
2 pkgs. pistachio instant pudding
2/3 c. powdered sugar

Mix flour, sugar, butter, and nuts together; press into 2 (9 x 13
inch) pans. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Mix cream cheese,
1/2 Cool Whip, and powdered sugar. Spread on above layer. Beat
together pistachio pudding (do not use electric beater) and milk.
Spread on above layer. Spread other half of Cool Whip over above layer
and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Also delicious with chocolate or lemon
