Alfredo sauce

I’ve never made an Alfredo sauce and would like to know how. Need help.

Thank you for the recipe I’m going to try it soon. Sounds delicious.

I love Alfredo Sauce but never have heavy cream on hand and live in the boonies so going to the corner store for some is out of the question. So like Kitchen Witch I just use a full stick of butter with the milk. I am a Garlic fanatic so I also add 2 or 3 or 4 chopped Garlic cloves.
If I cook without Garlic my husband always says… what’s missing? LOL

Alfredo sauce

* 1/4 cup butter
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 1 clove garlic, crushed
* 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley


  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in parsley and serve.
