All-American Sausage Crockpot

1 can (10-1/2 ounces) condensed beef broth
1 cup water
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 medium onions, quartered
6 carrots, julienned
1-1/2 cup celery, diced
2 potatoes, pared and diced
2 tablespoons water
1 lb smoked sausage

Combine broth, water and all vegetables except potatoes in your crockpot. Cover and cook for 1 hour on low. Add potatoes. Cover and cook for 6 hours on low. Add sausage and cook for an additional hour.
