Almond spicy mutton varuval


500g mutton - cut into bite sizes
1 large onion - sliced thinly
1 (about 100g) tomato - sliced thinly
1 tbsp blended/grounded ginger
1/2 tbsp blended/grounded garlic
Chilly Flakes (as per taste)
1 1/2 tbsp almond powder/paste
1/2 tbsp garam masala
1/2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce
4 tbsp oil
2 stalks coriander leaves (shredded/chopped)
salt to taste


Into the mutton pieces, mix and combine the onion, tomato, ginger, garlic, chilly flakes, almond powder/paste, garam masala and salt to taste.
Heat oil and when heated, add in the mixed mutton pieces, stir for a couple of mins.
Add enough water to cook the mutton till tender and soft.
Stir as and when needed until the gravy becomes dry.
Pour in the balsamic vinegar and dark soy sauce.
Stir to coat the mutton pieces.
Off the heat, add the coriander leaves and another good stir.
Its done and ready for serving.
