Almondigas
Pork with Vermicelli

1 egg

1 lb. ground pork

1 tbsp. chopped celery

2 tbsp. chopped onion

1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 cloves garlic, minced)

1 tsp. salt

3 cups water

1 bundle vermicelli or misua

pepper to taste

Beat egg

Add pork, celery, onion, garlic, salt and pepper

Shape into 1-inch balls

Bring 3 cups of water to a boil

Add pork balls

Add vermicelli or misua and simmer for 5 minutes

Serve hot
