While aluminum foil is a great kitchen item, I have some concerns about cooking with it. If I need to bake something and the recipe calls for the dish to be covered with foil I like to lay a piece of parchment paper between the food and the aluminum foil. Also, cooking in aluminum pots, other than anodized aluminum is not a good idea. Even here in Thailand, a third world country, restaurants are not allowed to use aluminum pots as they did in the past. Maybe I am being overly cautious, but aluminum has been linked to Alzheimer’s disease.
Hmmmm interesting thought… I’ll have to research more on it but I hear what your saying. I also like your tip on adding parchment paper. Smart!
