Amish Cashew Crunch

1 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cups cashews

  1. Lightly grease a cookie sheet.

  2. In a heavy pan cook and stir the butter and sugar until it looks like vanilla pudding.
    Add the cashews and cook until it starts to turn golden brown like peanut brittle.

  3. Pour out onto prepared cookie sheet. Cool.

  4. Break up into pieces. Store in airtight container.
