Apple Dumpling Crescents

2 cans regular crescent rolls
2 apples (peeled, cored & each sliced into 8 pieces)
2 sticks butter (1/2 pound)
1 1/2 cups granulated white sugar
1 Tablespoons ground cinnamon
1, 12 ounce can lemon lime soda pop, not diet

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Wrap one slice of apple into each crescent. Roll up and place in 9 X 13 pan. Put butter, sugar and cinnamon in a sauce pan and heat until the butter and sugar melt. Pour butter/sugar combination over contents in pan.Then pour the soda pop over entire pan.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes
