Aromatic Cheese Dip

1 clove garlic, halved (or you can just use garlic powder)
1 cup chicken broth
1 tsp. lemon juice
4 cups grated cheese of your choice (or even mix 2 cups of 2 different kinds)
2 tsp. corn starch
Salt and Pepper to taste
Bread, apples, whatever you want for dipping
Rub inside of fondue pot (or regular) with garlic cloves. Place pot on stove, pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until bubbly. Turn heat to low and gradually stir in cheese with a wooden spoon. Blend in corn starch and continue to cook, stirring constantly until thickened–do not allow to boil. Season with salt and pepper and serve with dippers.
