1 Gouda cheese wheel, rind removed
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed according to package directions
½ cup apricot preserves
1 cup ham slices, slivered
1 egg white
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place the thawed pastry on a greased baking sheet and place the gouda wheel in the center. Pour the preserves over the top and sprinkle with ham. Bring the corners of the pastry together and twist the top to seal tightly.
Brush with egg white and bake for 25-30 minutes until pastry is golden brown. Remove and cool 5 minutes. Serve warm.
