So simple but so tasty
1 can 28oz whole tomatoes or one quart canned homemade
3 slices white bread
2 T butter
1 T sugar
salt and pepper to taste
In a 2 quart cassearole dish add tomatoes and crush with your hand. Tear bread into small pieces into the tomatoes. Add butter and sugar and place in oven for 20-30 minutes or until bubbly.
