SPLENDA - Sucralose, a sugar derivative; use one cup for cup in place of sugar. Works best in recipes where sugar is needed primarily to sweeten - pie fillings, cheesecakes, sauces, muffins, cookies - rather than structure - cakes, candy, puddings.

EQUAL - Aspartame - use 1 cup for cup in place of sugar; use 24 packets for 1 cup sugar; best used for sweetening cheesecakes, fruit pies and such, not for structure.

SUGAR LITE - has half the calories and carbs of sugar; use cup for cup, can be used in all baking recipes.

SWEET ?N LOW - Saccharin; 24 packets equal 1 cup sugar; can be used without losing sweetness; for best baking results, substitute half the sugar with Sweet ?N Low.
