Banana cream salad


2 (3 oz.) pkgs. vanilla instant pudding
2 cups buttermilk
2 (8 oz.) containers Cool Whip
2 cans (30 oz.) fruit cocktail, well drained
2 cans (15 oz.) mandarin oranges, well drained
2 jars (16 oz.) maraschino cherries, well drained
1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, well drained
2 bananas, sliced

Combine the pudding mix and buttermilk and beat one minute with electric mixer. Add the Cool Whip and mix well. Stir in the fruit cocktail, oranges, cherries, pineapple and bananas until combined. Chill.
