Banana Pudding Muffins

1 (2-layer) pkg. yellow cake mix

1 (6.5- to 7.5-oz.) pkg. banana nut muffin mix

1 (4-serving) pkg. banana-flavor instant pudding

3 eggs

2/3 cup vegetable oil

2 medium ripe bananas, mashed

3/4 cup crushed vanilla wafer cookies

Preheat oven to 350°F. Place paper liners in 26 (2 1/2-inch) muffin cups, or coat several muffin pans with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl combine cake mix, muffin mix, pudding mix, 1 1/3 cups water, eggs and oil. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed until combined. Beat on medium to high speed 2 minutes more or until batter is smooth. Gently fold in bananas and cookies.

Pour batter into muffin cups. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
