Barbecued Burrito Burgers

1/2 can (15-oz) refried beans (about 1 cup)
1 can (4 oz) chopped green chilies
1/4 cup minced onion
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
3/4 tsp salt
4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
8 flour tortillas
1/4 head lettuce, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
Sliced ripe olives
Sliced avocado
Chopped onions
Taco sauce

Combine beans, 2 tbsp of the chilies, the onion and the salt. Add beef; mix well. Divide mixture into eight portions, shape in 8 5-inch patties. On one side of each patty, place half a cheese slice. Fold over forming a semi-circle, seal edges. Grill over medium coals 5 to 6 minutes, turn and cook 4 to 5 minutes more.

Place tortillas on grill to heat. Serve burgers on hot tortillas (folded like a Taco) and serve with lettuce, tomato, remaining chilies, ripe olives, avocado, more cheese and taco sauce.
