Beef and Cheese Crescents

1 lb ground beef
1/4 c chopped onion
3/4 c barbecue sauce
6 slices of Velveeta cheese
2 (8 oz) cans of Crescent rolls

Pre-heat oven to 375. Brown ground beef and onion together. Drain; set aside, but first stir in barbecue sauce. Unroll crescent dough into 4 long rectangles on ungreased cookie sheet. Overlap long edges and press together, making one large roll. Spread meat mixture down the center. Top with cheese. Overlap edges and seal. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes.

I fixed these for dinner tonight. I used fresh sausage instead of ground beef, and it worked really well. The sausage was not spicy and it had a really good barbecue flavor.
