Beef and Wagon Wheel Casserole

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 Tablespoon light brown sugar
1 ( 16 ounce ) can pork and beans
1 can ( 10 count ) can of refrigerated biscuits
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Brown beef and onion in a skillet and drain grease.
Stir in barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and beans. Cook until bubbly.
Pour into 2 1/2 quart round baking dish. Cut each biscuit crosswise into halves.
Place cut side down over ground beef mixture around the edge of the pan in a
spoke pattern. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes.
