Beef-Noodle Oriental Toss

1 pound lean ground beef
2 packages ramen noodles, oriental flavor
1 (16 ounce) package frozen oriental vegetables or California medley
2 cups water
1/2 cup onion, chopped
Reduced sodium soy sauce, to taste

Brown ground beef in a large skillet, drain fat and set aside. In the
same skillet, add water, vegetables, onion, 2 package of ramen
noodles (crushed) and seasoning packets. Mix together and cook on
medium heat until noodles and vegetables are tender. Stir
occasionally and cover as vegetables cook. When vegetables are
tender, add beef and bring to a boil.

Serves 6. Serve with soy sauce.

Variations: ground turkey, chopped chicken, chopped cubes of pork,
different vegetables, or add water chestnuts, drained.
