Dear B-Man

Your slow cooker stew sounds wonderful and will be trying it this weekend. With church on Sunday and the family activities this will be good for supper that night…thanks for sharing and caring.

By the way, I have two sons in the military. One has served in Gitmo and Afghanistan and the other has been USA based. I am a proud momma of both of them. We have 71 years of military service in this family, so you can see I like to wave this flag of ours. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS AND ALL THAT THEY DO FOR US!

B-man as always your recipes ROCK! YUM!!

My husband is retired Navy (32 years) My oldest son spent 6 yrs in the Navy.
Will definitely try you recipe - sounds delicious.

just curious, why do you coat the beef in the flour mixture? my mother used to do this as well. thanks

The flour helps to thicken the broth while it cooks, instead of making a slurry at the end of the cooking process.

GREAT recipe BMan…usually ppl put red wine in beef stew…personally I don’t care for it. I like the terriaki (sp?) much better!!!

This recipe a keeper!

Its easy and tasty and it freezes well too!
