Beefy Mac and Double Cheddar
1/2 lb. ground beef
3-1/2 cups water
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1 jar (1 lb.) Ragu Cheesy Double Cheddar Sauce
1.Brown ground beef in 12-inch skillet; drain. Remove ground beef from skillet and set aside.
2.Bring water to a boil in same skillet over high heat . Stir in uncooked macaroni and cook 6 minutes or until tender; do not drain.
3.Stir in ground beef and Double Cheddar Sauce; heat through. Season, if desired, with ground black pepper.
Now this one could get me in serious trouble but I had to print it. I think thanks? I could go for some right now.(ha! as if I need it)!
Neb, I have a question…What are your thoughts on ALSO doing a variation of this, say maybe use the jarred Alfredo sauce & brown Italian sausage instead of ground beef? Maybe even stir some basil pesto into the sauce. OH! You’ve just opened up a whole new world of simple cooking for me. Thanks so much!!!
Sounds like a great idea. You’ll have to let me know how it turns out. Sounds like something my family would love.
