Big Dave’s South Of The Border Pizza

A red sauce pizza made with taco meat, onions, black olives, hot and green pepper is topped with Mozzarella and Cheddar Jack cheeses

Yield —one, 12 inch pie

1 ready to use pizza dough shell or fresh dough
4 ounces of your favorite red pizza sauce
1-2 ounces crushed nacho flavor tortilla chips
3-4 ounces mozzarella cheese
3-4 ounces taco meat
2 ounces onion, diced
2 ounces green pepper, diced
2 ounces of your favorite hot peppers
2 ounces black olives, sliced

3-5 ounces lettuce, taco shredded
3-5 ounces roma tomatoes, diced
2-3 ounces cheddar Jack Cheese

  1. Spread sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 1-inch border.

  2. Sprinkle crushed (pulverized in a Zip Lock Bag) nacho flavor tortilla
    chips over sauce.

  3. Spread Mozzarella evenly over entire pie.

  4. Spread taco meat over all.

  5. Arrange onion, green pepper, hot peppers and black olives over all.

  6. Bake until golden brown and bubbly.

GARNISH: 8. Apply lettuce and Roma tomatoes. 9. Spread cheddar Jack cheese
evenly over entire pie. 10. Return to oven just to slightly melt cheese to
hold lettuce and tomatoes in place.

Serve With Your Favorite Picante Sauce For Dipping
