Black Angus Restaurant Cucumber Dip

1 cup shredded cucumber
1/4 cup minced onion
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon ground white pepper
1 tablespoon white distilled vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon sugar
Dash hot sauce, such as Tabasco

Procedure:

  1. Mix all ingredients in mixer for 10 minutes on low speed to thoroughly
    combine ingredients.

Does anyone have the fried zucchini recipe that goes with the cucumber dip? I used to live in California and I LOVED their fried zucchini and cucumber dip. I once tried to make up a recipe for the zucchini. It was not a success. Any help would be great, Thanks:D

7 eggs
2 cups burttermilk
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
Dash Tabasco sauce
2 tablespoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon white peppers
1 tablespoon garlic salt
Zucchini – sliced 1/8" thick
Japanese bread crumbs

Blend together all ingredients, minus the zucchini, till you have a pancake like batter. May need to add more flour.

Dredge sliced zucchini in flour. Then dip in batter and coat with Japanese bread crumbs.

Can be made ahead and placed in a single layer on cookie sheet and placed in freezer.

Deep-fry till golden brown.

Found this through a Google search. The person had the Black Angus cucumber dip recipe and created this Fried Zucchini recipe. I have not make it.

Fried Zucchini

Slice a zucchini on the diagonal, leave peeling on.

In three separate bowls place the following breadding mixtures:

-1st bowl: Flour mixed with seasoned salt and dill weed.

-2nd bowl: 1 whisked egg.

-3rd bowl: Panko bread crumbs. Don’t use regular bread crumbs, it must be Panko bread crumbs.

Toss zucchini slices in the flour. Coat both sides well.

Now drop floured slices into the egg bowl. Make sure egg gets on all sides.

Finally roll floured/egged zucchini in the panko. Coat well.

Heat some oil over medium heat until it comes to about 360-degrees F.
Carefully put the slices, 4-5 at a time in the oil. After about 3 minutes, turn the zucchini over.

When both sides are golden brown, remove slices from oil and set on paper towels to drain.

Serve hot with the cucumber dip.
