Boss Hog Bacon Cheeseburger
A bacon infused mouth-watering cheeseburger on Texas toast topped with lettuce, tomato and BBQ sauce.

1 lb. smoked bacon, cut into 1/4-inch dice
1 lb. ground beef
4 oz. shredded Cheddar and Jack blend cheese, divided
8 strips thick cut hickory smoked bacon
8 slices Texas Toast
1 tomato, cut into slices (topper)
4 lettuce leaves (topper)
Barbecue sauce (topper)
Prep: 16 minutes, Cook: 18 minutes, Serves: 4
In a small skillet, cook all bacon; drain on paper towels.
Mix beef and diced bacon until you have a consistent 50/50 blend. Form into four 1/2 lb. patties.
Grill patties for about 5 minutes, then flip and put 1/4 cup cheese and 2 strips of bacon on each patty. Cook for an additional 4 minutes or until cheese is melted and burger is cooked through.
Grill or toast Texas toast. Top 4 slices with lettuce, burger, barbecue sauce and tomato slice, then top with remaining toast slices.
