Boston Market Cinnamon Apples

5 cups sliced and peeled apples
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch of salt
2 tablespoons butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place apples in a baking dish.
Whisk water, cornstarch, brown sugar and cinnamon together until well blended.
Pour the brown sugar mixture over the apples, sprinkle with a pinch of salt and dot with butter.
Cover with foil and bake for 40-45 min. Stir every 15 min., cook until fork tender but not mushy.
Serve with pork, ham or turkey.
